Éclat de rêve

Éclat de rêve (Shard of a dream) is the image of an inner world, of that particular moment between losing consciousness as sleep begins and the first dream. The two states alternate throughout the piece until the final bars, where they merge, as if making way for another phase of sleep.

Selected by the artistic direction of the Osmose festival 2021 for the concert “On the traces of Stravinsky”, the piece was premiered in Brussels on 23 October 2021.
